Job Overview The Field Operator I is responsible for executing hands on tasks using Weatherford’s equipment, machinery, and systems in field operations. This role involves applying technical procedures and work instructions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities : Uphold Weatherford’s HSE, Security, and Compliance policies. Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring no risk to employees, customers, or the environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and environmental protection. Demonstrate safety leadership, especially in supervisory roles. Comply with Weatherford’s Quality policies and Management System. Prioritize service quality and seek opportunities for improvement. Follow documented policies, SOPs, and workplace practices. Attend daily safety meetings and report issues promptly. Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable condition. Perform inspections, functional tests, and maintenance tasks per training level. Handle equipment rig-up/down, cleaning, lubrication, and repairs. Drive vehicles to well sites and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Senior Operators may lead job planning, troubleshooting, and mentoring of junior staff. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Supervisors must clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities. Be financially responsible and adhere to budget and expense policies. Take ownership of personal career development and required training. Engage with managers for performance reviews and skill enhancement. Supervisors should support talent management and collaborate with HR. Exhibit leadership and ethical behavior aligned with Weatherford standards. Skills Basic mathematics and mechanical aptitude. Equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Critical thinking and problem-solving. Reading, writing, and decision-making aligned with procedures. Time management and quality control analysis. Physical capability to meet job demands.
