Job Summary:
Geolyn Pipe Inspection Services LTD. is a leading provider of robotic sewer pipe inspection services. Geolyn has a mobile robotic inspection units that travel down sewer lines and obtain video images of the pipe structure from remote units on the surface. Geolyn is seeking a field technician operator for it’s sewer pipe inspection unit. The successful candidate will have strong computer, language, and mechanical skills and possess a clean Class 5 drivers license. This position is a full time position and is based in Calgary. All training will be provided to the prospective candidate.
We are seeking a skilled and creative Camera Operator to join our team. As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage for various projects. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that the desired shots are achieved and that the overall vision of the project is realized.
Responsibilities:
-Drive 1 Ton diesel pick-up truck and haul 16’ trailer
- Set up and operate camera equipment for CCTV footage of underground pipes.
- Ensure proper lighting and framing for each shot
- Monitor and adjust camera settings during filming to maintain focus, exposure, and composition.
- Review footage to identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Maintain and clean camera equipment to ensure optimal performance
-Work with pipe flushing operator to ensure pipe is clean to specifications.
Requirements:
-Basic computer skills
- knowledge of camera equipment and operation
- understanding of composition, lighting.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
The right candidate will be hired and a 2 week training period will commence on the start date.
