Description
Conduct market gap and product fit analysis to select products fitting the particular market needs. Define price positioning (versus competitors) on the local market, including price groups. Ensure product margins and profitability for the relevant portfolio. Define the relevant service offer for the supported products together with sales and service team. Contribute to New Product Marketing Customer Requirements, including master data requirements and service requirements/opportunities. Provide new product price and price list modifications for their portfolio to be entered in the ERP tool and communicated to customers. Coordinate with sales to fill in BTA (Business Target Agreement) with regards to expected revenues and launch plan activities, for New Product Development projects. Own New Product Launches (NPL) in their portfolio for their geography (phase in/phase out), including providing forecast and financial expectations in yearly Profit Plans. Input into product local sales strategy and contribute to its execution with the sales team and partners. Help local Sales leadership develop and deploy an action plan to deliver the strategy and grow product sales (target specific customers, markets, channel, value prop including Go-To-Market strategy). Coordinate certification of localized products and solutions with local test labs and authorities. Collect and provide local geography Voice of Customer (VoC) and regulatory insights to Product Line Product Managers in the relevant Business Unit(s) to support specifications and business cases for new product development and adjustments of the existing portfolio. Run specific solicited VoC campaigns for future Level 1 or 2 New Product Development, together with Product Line Product Management. Provide input on competitive local analysis of supported product ranges, including offer, product details, pricing, and other local competition market intelligence Support Global Segment Content Marketing & Campaigns COE with insights to develop and update buyer personas and journey maps for selected personas. Bachelor´s degree in - Electrical or Electronic Engineering studies or/and marketing (preferred) 5+ years of experience in marketing/technical role in the Life Safety Industry (Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting), which should have allowed to develop an excellent understanding of the Middle East market, channels and the related competitive landscape Understanding business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing Advanced knowledge of Electrical products and Fundamentals of electricity (advanced knowledge in EN standards as well as Life Safety Codes is an advantage) At ease to collect and analyze Voice of Customer (VoC) and regulatory insights. Marketing skills: understanding of demand generation campaigns, digital marketing Experience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment Experience of working within a matrix organization Translation of technical features into commercial messaging Experience in working in a comparable marketing / product management role Relevant industry/sector experience Willingness to travel 40% Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills with the ability to be persuasive in front of own sales people, customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers Self-starter, energetic with great collaboration skills in a matrix environment Team player across geographies, product lines and functions Analytical Thinking Influential leadership Passionate about customers and understanding how to solve their challenges Be flexible on working arrangements - willingness to travel within the geographical scope frequently, EMEA infrequently.
