Job Description – Field Projects Technician (Build)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Understanding of health and safety requirements for on-site installation work.
  • Experience in cable installation, termination, and testing (RF, fibre, or structured cabling).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and build documentation.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away as required by project schedules.
  • Previous experience in telecoms or cellular system installation (preferred but not essential).

    Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Install and test cabling, RF components, active and passive equipment for cellular systems.
  • Follow technical designs and build documentation to ensure accurate system implementation.
  • Assist in the commissioning and handover of completed systems, including documentation packs.
  • Conduct site surveys, prepare technical reports, and support project documentation.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and ensure compliance on-site at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a project team to deliver high-quality installations.
  • Support maintenance activities on existing customer systems when required.
  • Be flexible to travel and work away from home as projects demand.
