Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of electrical experience including understanding of electrical theory/concepts (looking for a blend of electrical experience and safety experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a safety capacity including but not limited to; behavior based safety, safety systems, risk assessments, audits, basic safety training
  • Prior working experience with solar and BESS installations, ideally at utility scale
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Familiar with OSHA 29CFR1910, 29CFR1926, NFPA 70E, IEEE1984 and other regulatory standards
  • Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Work is to be performed through a combination of remotely and outdoors at various job sites.

  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. PPE personal protective equipment is required.
  • Must have the ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Responsibilities
  • Conduct field-based audits/assessments focused on HSSE elements
  • Work with operations team to identify concerns and provide solutions
  • Develop and maintain asset-level risk register
  • Assist in (and in some cases lead) incident investigations and oversee the implementation of corrective measures
  • Assist with training
  • Provide guidance in terms of PPE selection and deployment
  • Ensure overall compliance with PGR HSSE Managed System is being achieved at the asset level
  • Oversee and manage field personnel safety programs/projects – Task Qualification Program, Site Orientation Process, etc.
