Job Title: Field Sales Agent – Paykit Reports to: Business Development Manager - PayKit Merchant Acquisition Engagement: Contract (November–December 2025) Location: Field-based Role Overview The Field Sales Agent will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting new merchants on the Paykit platform as part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) rollout. The role involves active fieldwork, merchant relationship management, and ensuring that newly acquired merchants are successfully activated and transacting. Key Responsibilities ● Identify, approach, and recruit potential merchants within assigned territories. ● Present Paykit’s value proposition clearly to merchants and demonstrate key product features. ● Convert prospects to active merchants through persuasive selling and relationship building. ● Guide merchants through onboarding, ensuring complete and accurate KYC documentation. ● Support newly onboarded merchants with first transactions. ● Follow up to confirm merchant activation, engagement, and continued platform usage. ● Track and report daily merchant acquisition numbers, visit outcomes, and challenges. ● Conduct territory mapping to identify high-potential merchant clusters and business categories. ● Gather and relay market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback to management ● Represent Paykit professionally in all engagements, maintaining integrity and brand trust. ● Participate in weekly performance reviews and contribute insights to improve acquisition strategies. Requirements Qualifications & Skills ● Diploma or equivalent qualification in Sales, Marketing, or related field. ● Prior experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, or agent distribution preferred. ● Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills. ● Highly self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently. ● Basic understanding of fintech or digital payment platforms is an advantage.
