SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in CPG field sales, field marketing, merchandising, or retail account management, preferably in produce, perishables, food, and/or beverage.
  • Based on Oahu.
  • Experience working with CPG retailers, distributors, and account managers.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time throughout the state of Hawaii.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence consumers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple stores, priorities, and deadlines.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sensei Ag is hiring a Field Sales Coordinator to join our team. You will work closely with the Sales Director to ensure sales and marketing goals are met across our retail partners. You will provide in-store support, merchandising products, managing in-store displays, training brand ambassadors, and making our marketing collateral is current. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with store managers, supporting local community events, and being our primary brand ambassador to customers. In short, you will own retail-facing activities, sales and marketing support, ensuring our products and brand look great in every location. Behind the scenes, you will collaborate with Sensei’s marketing team on marketing plans and merchandising strategy, as well as manage key administrative and operational support like inventory tracking, event coordination, and customer communication.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work closely with the Sales Director to keep sales and marketing efforts moving forward.
  • Aligning visual merchandising (Planogram/merchandising diagrams) according to Sensei’s directives.
  • Be the face of Sensei Ag by creating and maintaining a positive image with store managers and the public.
  • Manage and organize media lists, databases, POS materials, and inventory.
  • Assist at trade shows and product demos to support promotional campaigns.
  • Keep an eye on trends by analyzing competitors and collecting feedback.
  • Train and mentor Brand Ambassadors to represent the company and brand with integrity.
  • Provide sales and marketing support, vendor coordination, budget tracking, and invoicing.
