KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of dietary supplements, natural products, and MegaFood’s ingredient and sourcing philosophy.
  • Experience conducting engaging trainings in both in-store and virtual formats, tailored to retail staff and consumer audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex product information for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and broker partners.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and comfort working independently in a field-based role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Education, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in natural CPG, dietary supplements, or field education roles.
  • Holistic health certification (e.g., Certified Nutritionist, Herbalist, or similar) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

The Natural Channel Field Sales team will serve as the first level of sales management and primary interface for the field sales team. The Field Sales Educator will be responsible for providing company and product education to Retailers, Internal Salesforce and Consumers across the Natural Channel for MegaFood. This role will coordinate, implement and execute education activities include but are not limited to in-person trainings, formal and informal presentations (e.g., aisle training), live remote trainings (e.g., webinars/MS Teams), recorded trainings, and consumer events (e.g., public lectures).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers in-store and virtual trainings on the brand’s mission, values, history, product features and benefits, competitive positioning, and ingredient differentiators.
  • Collaborates with Customer Strategy and Natural Field Sales teams to gather relevant product and ingredient information and supports the creation of impactful training materials tailored to the Natural Channel.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to identify and fulfill education needs through a variety of formats, including in-store staff trainings, consumer education events, webinars, recorded sessions, and phone trainings.
  • Participates in corporate trainings, national and regional sales meetings, and conferences, providing educational insights and brand expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in developing competitive analyses and training tools that position the brand effectively within the category, aligning with company values and strategic priorities.
  • Supports the onboarding and training of new Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional team members by delivering brand- and product-specific education.
  • Conducts field visits with internal and broker sales representatives to reinforce training initiatives, enhance aisle training effectiveness, and support relationship-building with retail partners.
  • This opportunity will require up to 40% travel in the field.
