    HACH has many years of experience in working with water boards and drinking water companies in the Netherlands. Together, these customers form the municipal water market, which comprises the total water needs of households in the Netherlands. Do you have what it takes to develop initiatives to expand our customer relationships? And do you have the drive to look for potential new markets within your area? These are exactly the characteristics we are looking for in our new Field Sales Engineer for Municipal Middle Netherlands.
    As a technical sales professional, you will be responsible for achieving goals for the sale of water analysis systems in your area. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will work with your customers to find the best solution for the water analysis challenges that our customers experience. The water analysis systems you sell are used for measuring and controlling, with the aim of optimising water processes.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • Education at HBO level, e.g. chemical technology, process, environment, measurement and control technology, food technology
  • Several years of experience in a commercial-technical position with demonstrable affinity for new or current contracts.
  • Experience with water analyses and/or water purification systems
  • Driver’s license B – within your area you will be on the road 3 out of 5 days.
  • Fluent in Dutch language, good command of the English language

Responsibilities
  • You will provide technical advice to our customers with measurement solutions in the field of water treatment, wastewater and water quality – from measuring instruments in the laboratory to process control.
  • You will make visits to customers’ production and handling facilities to actively support them in solving daily problems, laboratory and in-line process measurements
  • You participate in tendering procedures, in your field it is not uncommon to come across tenders.
  • You will take care of the development of the business area, regular monitoring of the development of the potential using CRM tools, management of the company database.
  • You are responsible for the management and implementation of projects and the design and implementation of action plans.
  • You actively participate in trade fairs and seminars for customers.
