Scope The Field Sales and Event Team Lead, under the direction of the Manager of Business Development and Events, is responsible for building corporate and community relationships to drive customer acquisitions and revenue growth. This role is highly performance-driven, with a clear focus on achieving and exceeding sign-up targets at every scheduled event and activation. Working cross-functionally, the Field Sales and Event Team Lead converts opportunities into measurable results, consistently delivering top-tier performance and contributing to overall business objectives. This individual is expected to be a top performer in the field, leading by example in sales execution, customer engagement, and conversion. The role actively prospects new businesses and clients within service areas across Canada to ensure a strong and continuous pipeline for growth. In addition, the Field Sales and Event Team Lead organizes, executes, and ensures the success of both in-person and virtual activations, including community events, trade shows, and markets, with a strong emphasis on maximizing sign-ups, paying customers and cost per acquisition. This position also involves hiring, training, and scheduling field ambassadors, setting clear performance expectations, and coaching the team to meet or exceed sign-up goals at each event. This is a six-month, hourly, contract position of up to 40 hours per week, primarily spent in-market executing activations and driving high-impact results with an opportunity to review and extend into a full year contract. Responsibilities: Event Management  1. Proactively identify, secure, and execute high-impact in-market events with teams of field ambassadors to drive sales, customer acquisition, and consistently achieve or exceed sign-up targets across Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Vancouver Island. 2. Own event performance end-to-end, ensuring each activation delivers strong conversion rates and contributes to overall revenue goals, with a focus on being a top-performing channel.= 3. Serve as the on-site lead for all events, overseeing setup, execution, and teardown while actively driving engagement and leading the team to meet or surpass performance targets. 4. Partner with the Business Development and Events Manager to build and execute the 2026/2027 event calendar, prioritizing high-performing opportunities and continuously improving results based on data and learnings. 5. Recruit, train, and coach field ambassadors to deliver best-in-class customer interactions and consistently meet or exceed sign-up goals at every event. Other In-Scope Duties 1. Meet or exceed agreed sales and acquisition targets through negotiating and closing business deals 2. Build strategic, long-term partnerships by proactively sourcing and engaging aligned organizations, while implementing a systematic, process-driven approach to outreach and relationship management using tools like LinkedIn, SeamlessAI, and HubSpot to drive continuous business growth for Fresh Prep 3. Stay up-to-date on Fresh Prep’s product and service offerings 4. Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators 5. Track and record activity on accounts and ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system 6. Handle client objections by clarifying information, emphasizing benefits, and working through differences to a positive conclusion QUALIFICATIONS  * 1-2+ years’ experience in event planning and sales.
