Working closely to support the Business Development Managers in the Automotive Industry, the individual in this role will support to increase Liquidline’s client base. This will involve utilising existing relationships within the industry as well as targeting dealerships that are not currently supplied by Liquidline. Additionally, this role will actively support the existing Sales team with customer visits and demonstrations delivering a ‘wow’ service to deliver growth within the sector.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE - FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE

  • Calling in and completing visits into Automotive Dealerships where we do not supply machines, but LL are an approved supplier
  • ​The management and development of existing customers.
  • Maximising cross-selling opportunities (water machines and coffee machines)
  • Upgrading existing customers and contract renewals where influence is required to complete transaction.
  • Maximising expansion of all customers in the existing and additional sites.
  • Supporting and collaborating with National Account Managers to enhance the development of group trading terms. As well as performing customer visits and demonstrations when required.
  • Build relationships and work closely with both Sales & Marketing to align on sales campaigns and to collaborate widely on ways to identify new leads and prospects.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, exhibitions, seminars and professional association meetings to promote the highest standards of professionalism and to forge effective working relationships.
  • ​Build relationships with customers to elicit enquiries and gain new business.
  • ​Keep relevant notes and record calls in the CRM system so that all correspondence can be referred to and understood at any given time.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED IN THE ROLE OF FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE

  • Excellent communication skills, in particular over the phone, with the ability to interact with prospects.
  • ​Confident and tenacious in influencing, persuading and negotiating with others via outbound calls.
  • ​Proven ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload
  • ​Well organised and responsive to get things done to deadline
  • ​IT proficient, with a good understanding of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and CRM systems, as well as telephone systems.
  • ​High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • ​Ability to work as a team with a desire to be part of a hardworking, collaborative, fun, and values-driven team.
  • ​Quick to pick up new products, processes and systems.
