JOB SUMMARY

As a Field Sales Manager, you will lead, develop, and drive a high-performing team of Field Sales Representatives to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer engagement in your assigned territory. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and hands-on coaching to maximize productivity and ensure alignment with The Phone Stores Vodafone’s strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably within telecom/tech sector.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or sales management experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a mobile, target-driven workforce.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned regions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in B2C and/or B2B sales.
  • Knowledge of Vodafone’s products, services, and brand positioning.
  • Familiarity with local market dynamics and customer segments.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of field sales representatives across assigned territories.
  • Recruit, train, and coach team members to consistently achieve and surpass KPIs (sales, customer satisfaction, churn reduction, etc.).
  • Develop and execute local sales strategies aligned with national campaigns and Vodafone initiatives.
  • Conduct regular field visits and ride-alongs, in order to support field sales representatives in customer interactions and deal negotiations.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on results, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with local business partners, community organizations, and potential B2C clients.
  • Report on market trends, competitor activities, and field feedback to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, sales procedures, and Vodafone brand standards.
