About the Position The Field Sales Manager will provide sales program support to assigned markets and serve as a liaison between the national marketing teams and local sales teams. This role will work closely with the sales team to identify and develop opportunities to grow brand relevance, consumer loyalty, and brand awareness measures with a focus on increasing customer orders by executing core responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will be ready to become an expert on the brand and be able to help lead the implementation and execution of the annual sales plans to drive sales order solicitation in the local markets in a manner that is consistent with the national brand strategy. Core Responsibilities Planning: Translate national programs to the sales and distributor network; Adapt and oversee national plans to drive sales order solicitation to meet local market needs. Identify gaps in national plans and develop localized sales alternatives consistent with the national brand strategy to drive sales order solicitation. Utilize market insight and understanding to ensure relevant consumer sampling activation locally. Lead the local advertising and market development planning process designed to drive sales order solicitation throughout assigned markets, in parallel with distributor-funded tactical program overlays and local media advertising. Aid the development of local sampling and brand awareness programs in the on- and off-premise that encourage consumer intent at the point of purchase. Lead and/or assist in multicultural consumer development through education of the company's products and execution of sampling activities. Evaluate market needs for branded advertising POS in conjunction with the Trade Sales Team to ensure said needs are met across assigned markets. Ensure consistency across all assigned markets by developing and implementing appropriate standards to increase customer order placement. Consumer Sampling and Brand Education Activations: Attend sampling activations (whenever possible) and recap/compare actual activations with forecasted activations under strategies to increase customer orders. Educate third parties representing Tito's Handmade Vodka on brand attributes and standards to be able to represent the brand and extol the virtues of the product to consumers. Align all third-party sampling activations with brand strategies to increase customer orders. Philanthropy: Manage assigned market philanthropic product sampling activities, charitable contributions, and giving. Share best practices for JOY (charitable giving), product sampling programming across assigned markets. Creative Development, Media and PR: With the objective of increasing customer product orders: Manage creative advertising and related media requests from the field within Salesforce, BrandMuscle, and distributor print shops. Manage social media advertising requests from the field within Salesforce in collaboration with the Social Media / Love, Tito's philanthropy team Work with advertising media agencies in the briefing, planning, and execution of local advertising. Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience Minimum 2-3 years sales marketing /sales experience, preferably within the spirits/beer industry. Prior experience in a similar role using a broad range of sales tools, including financial, business analysis, advertising, consumer awareness, merchandising, direct sales, and market sales development, electronic market sales, as well as research and analysis. Understanding of a three-tier distribution network, including state and federal compliance. Understanding of go-to-market and channel strategies. Creative problem solver and strategic thinker who brings passion, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas. Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills: able to establish relationships, persuade, and negotiate effectively. Proven track record of being organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
