Description SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers while providing them with the sales and support necessary to expand our customer base in the area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales support for clients of all sizes Cold calling potential new customers Following up on sales leads from customer employees & contractors Be able to discuss the need of pipes, valves, fittings (PVF), and other products to new and existing customers Communicating frequently and clearly with store manager to ensure inventory needs are met Support for other staff members as requested by the branch manager Requirements EHS REQUIREMENTS: Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s safety training requirements Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance policy QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: 4 years of experience working in a supply store environment 2 years of experience working specifically with pipes, valves, and fittings (PVF) Navision software experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted Ability to bend and stoop if necessary WORK ENVIRONMENT This position works inside a Bell Supply Store. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of this job. TRAVEL Travel to job sites will be required for this position.
