What You'll Do - Outbound Outreach -- targeted outreach via email and cold calls to engage potential clients. - Prospect and Qualify Leads -- identify brands, retailers, and third-party merchandisers who benefit from our platform. - Educate and Engage -- communicate our value proposition, focusing on fast ROI and competitive advantages. - Set Up Meetings -- book qualified discovery calls and demos for the sales team. - CRM and Reporting -- maintain accurate records, track performance, and optimize outreach strategies. - Collaborate -- work closely with marketing and sales to refine messaging and improve lead quality. What We're Looking For The right candidate has boots-on-the-ground CPG experience and is ready to channel that hustle into a tech sales career: - 2-4 years as a territory or route sales rep calling on grocery, convenience, or mass retail stores -- beer, beverage, snack, dairy, or any CPG brand. - You managed a store list, built relationships with store managers, and fought for shelf space week in and week out. - High-energy, self-directed, and comfortable with volume -- you're not waiting to be handed leads. - Strong communicator who can build rapport quickly and follow up relentlessly without being annoying about it. - Comfortable with outbound prospecting – emails and cold calls. We'll train you on the tools and the tech. - Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus, but not required -- what matters is your drive and your domain knowledge.
