Description The Bruery & Offshoot Beer Co. is growing and we are hiring for a Field Sales Representative (FSR) position to cover Orange County. The ideal candidate is a high energy, self-motivated go getter that loves craft beer. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is the face of our brand in Orange County. The ideal candidate resides within the assigned territory and has previous supplier and/or distributor sales experience. They should be able to maintain existing business relationships while also growing brand awareness, and PODs. As the Field Sales Representative, you are responsible for growing PODs, volume (CE & dollar), and velocity within the assigned territory. A successful FSR will achieve quarterly goals for: STRs, ride-with frequency, number of account visits, events, quality control surveys and overall customer satisfaction. Primary Function: This position supports the Sales Department’s primary function of Brand Building by: Expanding placements for core and seasonal brands, primarily in the On-premise and Independent Retail channels Increase the rate of sale with market activations and secure high velocity accounts Build relationships across all levels at Breakthru Beverage Group Create lasting relationships with key retailers in Southern California Essential Job Duties: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets Build active relationships with distributor and retail stakeholders Grow placements and rate of sale by executing new placements and KPIs for getting our brands launched properly Maintain weekly written communications with Regional Manager and distributor partners regarding activity; Complete predetermined account visits per day Utilize VIP and/or distributor route accounting software to identify account opportunities, analyze sales and gain business and sales insights; Generate sales by maintaining/increasing shelf facings and positioning Manage account database for assigned territory, including pipeline of prospective accounts, and assist with updating contact lists for account and distributor communication Maintain retail call frequency and call on existing account base within assigned area to obtain new distribution, execute promotional activity and increase market share Educate distributor reps and managers about brands and products through regular in person meetings, phone and email communications and presenting at sales meetings when appropriate. Supply distributors and accounts with marketing materials and assist marketing team with more focused marketing material; Gather marketing information and feedback from distributors and warehouse teams to effectively promote and prepare for events; Identify retail opportunities and sell/execute against those opportunities Generate sales by maintaining/increasing shelf facings and positioning; Merchandise and service off premise retail accounts Identify and coordinate events to showcase products including but not limited to premier beer festivals, music festivals, and food and wine festivals; Deliver great brand awareness to stimulate sales Represent the company in a unique, enthusiastic, and respectful manner with distributors, accounts, and customers Requirements Essential Qualifications: An optimistic, winner’s mindset who can develop and execute the plan Proven track record of growing sales volume and/or dollar volume Organized, self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and sociable 2+ years of experience in a sales capacity within the beer and/or wine & spirits industry Knowledge of Federal alcohol distribution 3-tier system Passion for craft beer and beer industry Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groups Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic industry Excellent oral and written communications skills Willing to work both independently and in collaborative environments Must be adaptable and able to adjust plans to achieve goals Possess a high level of energy and represent our brands with a connected, growth mindset in sales visits, events, staff trainings, and more Proficient with KARMA, VIP & G-Suite programs Reliable transportation, valid license, and clean driving record Must be willing to travel within and outside of territory, work evenings, and weekends At the Bruery, our Core Values are: We are Relentless in the Pursuit of Results We are Candid & Transparent We are Masters of our Craft We Think & Act Like an Owner We Think & Act Like a Team
