JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team. This role will focus on establishing and maintaining strong relationships within the architect and designer community, as well as larger construction firms and developers. The ideal candidate will leverage industry knowledge to drive sales, develop long-term partnerships, and position the company as a leader in premium door solutions for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities within the architect and designer community, large construction firms, and developers.
  • Build and maintain clients through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to showcase product offerings and value propositions.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to expand contacts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
  • Provide expert consultation on product solutions that align with project specifications and aesthetic goals.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive business development strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Track sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports to monitor performance and forecast future business growth.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, industry standards, and competitor offerings.
  • Advise clients on the latest design trends, technological advancements, and sustainability options in door manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the building materials, construction, or architectural industries.
  • Experience working with architects, designers, and large-scale construction/development firms is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across multiple levels of client organizations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex product offerings, especially as they pertain to architectural specifications and construction needs.
  • Negotiation skills with experience in closing high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits.
  • A passion for design and construction, with a focus on providing innovative and high-quality solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
