JOB DESCRIPTION: FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE – SOUTH EAST

The successful candidate will be covering the south East of Ireland, Wexford and Carlow and will be required to be based in the territory. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the company sales team.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

The suitable candidate should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Proven experience in a similar sales role with a proven record of delivering on targets is essential.
  • Ability to develop new business through Cold Calling & referrals.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to influence others.
  • A full driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications although not essential

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be able to work on their own initiative and be able to manage their area effectively.
  • They will be well presented with good communication skills.
  • They will manage each of the accounts efficiently and effectively.
  • Present a professional image of the company.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Opening new accounts servicing existing calls and optimizing sales and distribution within the assigned territory
  • Promoting and developing all products
  • New product listing and promotional planning
  • Building strong relationships throughout the territory with store managers and store personnel.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Responding to new leads within a set timeframe to ensure excellent standards of customer service are met.
