We are seeking a skilled Field Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our long-established team in Gloucester.
At ASGuk, we specialise in the installation and maintenance of a range of security systems such as Access Control, Intercom Entry, IP CCTV, Emergency Call, Automatic Doors, Automatic Barriers & Gates.
We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years proven experience in the Field Service Maintenance of security systems or a closely related industry.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

For this role you MUST have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the UK security systems industry.
  • A good positive work ethic, a positive attitude and excellent time keeping skills.
  • The ability to adapt to changing environments and products.
  • Physically fit and capable of using steps and other access equipment.
  • Strong initiative, high degree of attention to detail and be responsible for your own work from start to completion.
  • Motivation to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A great communicator in fluent English, written and spoken.
  • A full UK driving licence.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

It would also be ideal if you had the following, although not essential as training would be provided where needed.

  • Previous experience in servicing and maintaining automatic doors, barriers and gates.
  • BSEN16005 approved.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successful service and maintenance of our security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Entry Systems, IP CCTV, Emergency Call, Automatic Doors, Automatic Barriers & Gates).
  • Manage your own diary effectively to ensure efficient planning and completion of work.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and office admin team.
  • Ensure all systems meet the necessary health and safety regulations and standards
  • Accurately completing electronic service management worksheets to a professional standard.
  • Maintain and update asset managment documentation.
