Description
Support all pre and post sales activities. Service and repair DC power supplies and electronic loads by troubleshooting to a module level. Install and commission new power systems at customers' facility. Provide training to customers on the use of power supplies and electronic loads. Read electrical schematics. Provide excellent customer support. Write detailed service and field reports. Coordinate with other teams to resolve complex application issues. Support quality assurance functions to ensure a superior customer experience. Drive customer issues to resolution Provide feedback to factory regarding field failures and common application questions. Reproduce customer failures in the lab in order to report the information to factory engineers. Plan and record how-to and product demo videos. Manage customer expectations while working on resolving customer's issue. Proven experience as a power electronics repair technician or similar role. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to write detailed and accurate reports. Excellent organizational skills Familiarity with electronic theory, troubleshooting and reading schematics. Must be a self-starter, work independently, detail oriented, well organized and the ability to multitask with strong work ethics. Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Must be able to pass a nationwide background check / drug screen. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US. Able to lift 50lbs and willingness to operate a hand-lift. Travel up to 50% Location: San Diego, CA
