Job Overview: For AEM it is paramount that safety comes first, the reason why we are looking for a highly dynamic and enthusiastic individual that holds Safety principles to the core of everything this person does. Responsible for providing customer support activities that involve installation, modification, repair, and preventive and predictive maintenance of AEM equipment and systems, ensuring proper working order. Follow established safety policies and procedures to ensure company and customer quality standards are met. Work under pressure, managing discretion and independent judgment to solve customer issues.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The physical demands for this position are moderate. This position requires use of computers, standing and sitting for extensive periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and scaffoldings and use personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to work in awkward positions and in confined spaces.
    At AEM Safety is paramount: OSHA compliant safety training, on the job training will be provided.
    New hires will be trained OJT in Chandler, Arizona and some training may take place at AEM headquarters in Singapore. This position is scheduled to be stationed in Chandler, Arizona onsite at a customer location. All AEM personnel must pass safety training provided by the customer. Travel to AEM customer facilities in Chandler Arizona, Hillsborough Oregon, Austin Texas, Santa Clara California, San Jose Costa Rica, Munich Germany, and Haifa Israel may be required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical or electromechanical engineering or a technical degree/related trade certification.
  • LOTO & COHE knowledge is a must. Safety certifications or formal Safety training is desirable.
  • Subject to random OSHA Safety training, on the Job Training, drug screening, and background checks.
  • Must have the ability to set up/troubleshoot complex capital equipment and use a variety of diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and other measurement devices on a regular basis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strict attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. While maintaining & prioritizing safety. This includes managing multiple projects and meeting time-sensitive objectives with minimal or no supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint), Knowledge of SAP and Smartsheet is an advantage.
  • USA Visa updated – able to travel up to 75
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  1. Safety mindset when installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and verifying the operation of the system platform by adhering to AEM policies, procedures, and work, following the direction of the Site Supervisor or Service Manager.
  2. Provide preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures. Keep performance and maintenance records on the equipment.
  3. Complete required daily job documentation, procedures for an SQ checklist, and calibration tools, follow up, and perform pass-down knowledge to peers.
  4. Submit expected reports, such as service and status reports, A3 reports, and RMA tickets in real-time. Making sure TAT is achieved.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by always conforming to AEM and customers’ work protocols, policies, and local guidelines. Participating in job site safety reviews, safety toolbox meetings, and safety training.
  6. Productively react to changing priorities and support organizational and administrative duties.
  7. Communicate all existing and potential customer service/ Safety issues to the immediate supervisor in real-time.
  8. Provide training to customers.
  9. Satisfy AEM and customers’ on-site requirements, including safety and environmental guidelines.
  10. It is also required to work in close proximity to other team members. Positive and effective interaction with other team members is a necessary part of this position.
  11. Including, but not limited to any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/ Manager.
