This Position reports to: Field Service Manager Your role and responsibilities From rapid response and performance improvement to operational efficiency and life-cycle management, Service is one of our fastest-growing areas. You will execute service work with Motion-Drive Service in Tuzla-İstanbul, Turkey. Reporting to the Drives Service Manager, you will act as the technical point person between customers and extended ABB teams. The work model for the role is: {onsite} You will be mainly accountable for: Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance with expert oversight; identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories Consulting with and advising customers on the most effective service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines Creating and maintaining reliable relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment and methods Frequent domestic travelling will be required, as the role will require on-site support at customer sites. Very punctual international travelling might also be required for training purposes or special customers Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while supporting your colleagues and the business Qualifications for the role Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic engineering Minimum 2 years of service experience Knowledge of AC/DC drives technology, industrial communications (Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus, industrial routers, cloud-based services, etc.) and remote monitoring and remote support systems Advanced level of English, both written and spoken Turkish knowledge is a must Good knowledge of MS Office applications Effective leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and effective communication skills Flexibility and quick adaption to frequent scheduling updates.
