Description Travel: Approximately 30% (domestic and occasional international) We are seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our additive manufacturing systems, including aerosol jet technology. This mid-level role is ideal for a technically capable professional who enjoys working directly with customers to install, support, and troubleshoot advanced equipment while delivering a high level of service. Key Responsibilities · Install, commission, and validate additive manufacturing systems at customer sites · Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components · Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions · Provide timely customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits · Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues · Document service activities, findings, and recommendations · Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices · Build and maintain strong customer relationships Requirements Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience · 2–5 years of experience supporting technical equipment in the field or similar environment · Experience in additive manufacturing, printing technologies, or advanced manufacturing preferred · Working knowledge of integrated systems (mechanical, electrical, and software) · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills · Willingness to travel approximately 30% Skills & Competencies · Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a structured and efficient manner · Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team · Organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through · Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies · Basic familiarity or interest in aerosol jet or precision deposition technologies is a plus Why Join Us This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology while making a direct impact on customer success.
