FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (DELIVERY TRAINER INSTRUCTOR ENGINEER)

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced field service engineer to join our team of Delivery/Training Instructor/Engineers (DTIE’s).
Due to the increased nationwide demand for our unique range of world patented Quingo Mobility Scooter products, we have an opening for an engineer to deliver, train and provide ongoing maintenance, to our end-user consumer clients.

This role involves extensive travel throughout the UK’s North Western counties, with the possibility of one or two overnight stays per week. Full support and comprehensive training will be provided for the candidate who possesses the following:

  • A mechanical/electrical service/engineering background.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • A good knowledge of the road network system within the north eastern counties of the UK.
  • A clean driving licence and an enjoyment of driving on the open roads.
  • Enjoy meeting people with an ability to communicate clearly and with patience.
  • To effectively interact with our customers and provide technical support where needed
  • Possess excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good organizational skills, to manage the service documentation and parts inventory, while appreciating the necessity for accurate and clear paperwork.
  • Show initiative, self-motivation with the ability to follow proven procedures.
  • An understanding of basic computer data input.

Duties:
· Install, maintain, and repair our range of mobility scooters at customer sites
· Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues
· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
· Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment
· Fully document all service activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer interactions
With an annual basic salary of £25,396.80 per annum there is also an uncapped monthly performance bonus which can increase your salary to over £35K (presently the average is £33K) which is paid monthly in arrears by BACS. A fully expensed company vehicle is also provided with a mobile phone, laptop and printer, branded uniform, plus 28 days holiday and company pension.
