Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Executes complex service jobs achieving scheduled completion and ensuring required quality levels.
  • Provide detailed technical direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistic support, and installation of BH Valves products
  • Provide on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction (troubleshooting)
  • Prepare detailed technical report of issues, carried out activities, final handover.
  • Analyze and interpret drawings, mark-up and modify relevant documentation as per the carried out repair activities
  • Make recommendations on findings
  • Keep up to date with all aspects of Control Valves and Safety Relief Valves.
  • Compliance with all EHS policies and company procedure

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor Degree or technical diploma
  • Hands-on technician with extensive experience in industrial instrumentation and maintenance
  • In-depth knowledge of control and safety valves and their elements and mechanical parts
  • Able to dismantle and reassemble all types of valves and relevant accessories.
  • Knowledge of valves testing tools & equipment, able to utilize any valves test workbenches.
  • Knowledge of digital positioners (Hart and Fieldbus).
  • Willingness and ability to travel all over the assigned territory, flexibility to work in emergency in over-time and during non-working days.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience on control and safety valves (mechanical and instrumentation) or 4 Years of experience in the sector of instrumentation and industrial maintenance
  • Experience with a control valve and/or safety valve Manufacturer
  • EHS Training Certificates and Safety Qualifications as required by the assigned country local rules
  • Basic English Language skills both written and verba
