Due to continued growth and new contracts, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our clients across West Midlands.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a field-based role.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Basic IT skills for producing reports on a company-issued tablet.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, service, and maintain PE and gym equipment, from simple gym mats to full sports halls.
  • Undertake a variety of repairs, ranging from:
  • Replacing inserts, hooks, bungs and covers on PE equipment.
  • Installing new sports hall equipment/ netting.
  • Fixing and maintaining outdoor equipment.
  • Safely work at heights on scaffold towers and scissor lifts (full PASMA/IPAF training provided).
  • Carry out outdoor tasks, such as digging and replacing logs for trim trails or restoring safety surfacing.
  • Survey equipment for repairs and new orders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building trusted relationships with clients.
    What to expect in the role: This is a varied and hands-on role where safety is always the top priority. You will adapt to different tasks each day, drawing on your practical skills, basic tool knowledge, and keen eye for detail to ensure equipment safety.

You will also:

  • Have a keen eye for detail, accurately measuring in millimetres (mm) and metres.
  • Identify colours confidently and provide clear, detailed reports on your findings and recommendations.
  • Manage your own time to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
