Description
Perform installation, commissioning, and configuration of CE products at customer sites. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer and regulatory standards. Diagnose and repair equipment faults, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain timely & accurate service records and documentation in a digital system for compliance and traceability. Collaborate with the CETS Manager and other FSEs to support ongoing service strategies, field team coordination, and customer satisfaction goals. Provide technical support and training to clinical staff on equipment use and basic troubleshooting. Communicate effectively with hospital stakeholders to coordinate service visits and manage expectations. Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control procedures, and safety standards. Monitor, organise and maintain personal trunk stock, tools & test measurement equipment. Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, TGA, Medsafe (NZ), and internal quality assurance requirements. Work closely with Customer Service Team for scheduling and parts logistics. Liaise with the Service Contracts Specialist to support contract delivery and upsell opportunities. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. High attention to detail and commitment to compliance. Team-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and development. Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field. 5+ years' experience in field service, with proven expertise in medical devices or hospital equipment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally. Experience working in surgical and cath lab environments is highly desirable.
