  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Good technical knowledge of computer- and software-connected laboratory equipment.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and eager to keep learning, with flexibility to travel and visit customer sites.
  • Full, clean EU driving license; prior Field Service or LC/MS experience is a plus, but not essential.
On a personal level, you possess great problem solving / analytical skills, and you are eager to learn about new software technology, instruments, applications, and consumables. You have communication/ interpersonal skills to interact at various levels, and you strive to provide excellent customer support. You enjoy both working within a team and autonomously.
Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, upgrade, and maintain Agilent instruments to ensure reliable performance for customers.
  • Respond quickly to customer service requests and keep them updated before, during, and after service.
  • Plan and schedule service visits efficiently while coordinating closely with your manager and sales team to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver accurate and timely service reports and documentation to ensure smooth follow-up and compliance.
  • Share feedback and technical insights with product specialists, manufacturing teams, or vendors to help resolve product issues.
  • Uphold Agilent’s reputation for excellent customer service by following corporate policies and providing a professional, customer-first experience.
This role won’t be head-office based, and you will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in Ireland (a company car will be available to you).
