Role: Field Service Engineer
Location: Manchester, M17 1EH
Hours: 45 hours per week | 9 hours per day, between 06:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday - Looking for flexibility? We offer 40-hour per week option
Salary: Between £39.000 - £43,992.00 pa DOE
Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for a dynamic role? We are seeking a dedicated professional to repair, maintain, and service customer vehicles both at their premises and within our workshops. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing faults, preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, and ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards. You’ll use computer-aided software for fault diagnosis and work independently at customer sites.
We value quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As part of our team, you’ll manage your own work using PDA software, maintain good housekeeping practices, and ensure all repairs meet customer requirements. A flexible approach to start/finish times, a commitment to health and safety, and a customer-focused attitude are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART INCLUDE:

  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicle body and chassis on RCVs or similar vehicles
  • Working knowledge of vehicle technology systems
  • NVQ, City & Guilds, Level 3 qualified in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance, or equivalent, or time served
