Description InTest Thermal Solutions (iTS) specializes in the design and manufacture of precision temperature control systems. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation of new customer systems, providing preventative maintenance (PM) and Calibrations (NIST and ISO17025) at our customer sites, and be able to analyze, identify and resolve product issues at the customer site. Working closely with the Head of Global Service and the Sales / Service Administrator you will be fluent in parts ordering processes and completing comprehensive service reports. In addition to reactive services, the FSE will provide guidance to customers on the correct Priority Service Agreements that may be applicable to their specific requirements. A strong ability to communicate and empathize with customer concerns and the challenges they face having our product unavailable for use. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience · Experience handling multiple caseloads and proficient in customer support ticketing systems · Must be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency · Detail orientated with a focus on customer service · Experience with support tools and cloud applications a plus · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot specifically) · Working knowledge in refrigeration, electronics, thermal measurements, RS-232/IEEE communications and mechanical engineering strongly preferred · US Citizenship Required for this position (ITAR Requirements) · EPA 608 Certification a major plus · Travel up to 75% of the time US Citizenship Required for this position Service area will cover all of East Coast from Maine to Florida. Candidates must be able to commute to the Mansfield, MA facility when not performing service calls at customer sites. Some travel at times may expand throughout the US and International when needed. The candidate is expected to be an experienced and highly motivated individual with strong technical skills. The candidate must exhibit good teamwork and communication skills that allow efficient interactions between departmental team peers, as well as cross-functional associates.
