WE ARE RECRUITING FOR A FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

A full-time dedicated Service Technician is required to carry out annual routine service visits for our client base customers, as well as responding to urgent call out visits and technical support requests. The services and technical support requests will be assigned by the customer service team at head office. You will also be required to record visits via our internal service documents system and fill in a weekly report.
Working Hours are Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, however hours can vary.
Overnight stays will be required , any overnight stays are paid an additional £25.00 per night
This position will typically be required to cover Southwest to East of England
Information:
· Attend customer sites to repair/service laser machines within the full range of Universal Laser Systems, as directed.
· Monitor and maintain stock of parts.
· Arrive at a customers’ location in a timely manner.
· Uphold the professional company image.
· Provide accurate weekly time and expense sheets.
· Complete detailed and accurate Engineer Service Reports for each job attended submitting them in accordance with correct procedure.
· Always maintain close contact with the customer service team and line manager.
· Participate in training and meetings as required at offices in Rochester Kent
· Carry out new system installations and provide training to customers.
· Confidently provide onsite training sessions.
· Support with demonstrations of systems at both HQ and in the field.

The Ideal candidate will :

• Possess a full clean UK driving licence.
• Have experience of working with Laser cutters and have a good knowledge of Design software packages.
• Be self-motivated and organised with a flexible approach to work.
• Be a natural problem solver with a can-do attitude.
