Field Service Engineer
Location - Scotland, central belt
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000 per year
Additional pay: Bonus scheme
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Engineer - Scotland , the successful candidate will be responsible for installing and servicing It equipment (Self Serve Kiosk, EPOS, Printers) across a number of major retailers based in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend sites from 7.00am
  • Install equipment as per the defined script
  • Use installation sign off app
  • Updated client on progress using Synchroteam
  • Liaise with customer on site.
  • Work around the customers and staff in the shop.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and using Command Prompts
  • Strong Retail technical knowledge
  • Able to use hand tools including drills etc.. and to follow instructions on site

Qualifications

  • Strong technical support and IT support skills
  • Proficient in desktop support and help desk operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with computer networking and software troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, VPN, and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and relevant tools, including hand tools
  • Experience with shop fit and physical equipment installation
