JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have completed a technical education at MBO+ or HBO level.
  • You have several years of work experience in a technical environment, preferably in mechatronics.
  • You are flexible and experienced in visiting customers worldwide. You are used to sometimes being away from home for longer periods.You have a good command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

As a Field Service Engineer, you ensure that machine lines at customers worldwide are properly assembled, installed, and optimized. You are the point of contact on-site, you lead your local team, and you also handle revisions and upgrades. In this role, your knowledge of mechatronics comes in handy: you are the link between programmers and engineers and know how to connect theory and practice. You do this work because you gain energy from complex projects, collaborating with different cultures, and continuously finding practical solutions. Traveling is part of this job. You often know in advance where you will be going. For you, that’s not a problem, because you love variety and enjoy contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that truly make a difference.

TASKS YOU CAN EXPECT INCLUDE:

  • Preparing by attending project meetings.
  • Checking drawings and parts on-site and ensuring the right expertise is present in the team.
  • Installing, testing, and delivering the machine line within schedule.
  • Maintaining contact with the customer and the team during the project.Identifying opportunities for improvement and discussing them with your team.
