JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking Field Service Engineer /Technicians supports the team on providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installations, as well as contributes in the resolution of any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems, performing regular preventive maintenance on existing systems, checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Valid Passport / Driving License
• High School diploma or completed professional training in a technical field (e.g. mechatronics technician electrical/electronic field); preference for University’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, gases knowledge.
• Normally receives detailed instructions on all work and is supported by the line manager or appropriate delegate.
• Internal trainings: completed all mandatory technical trainings as indicated in the Service TCL, Level 1.
• Basic understanding of industry standards and best practices for semiconductor equipment Service activities.
• High focus on TEL Safety, Quality and Compliance standards as indicated in the Service TCL, Level 1.
• Knowledge of English is essential, both written and oral; Italian knowledge is highly preferred
• Willingness to work on shifts, if required

• Instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Interpreting customers’ needs and clarifying if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
• Guaranteeing customer’s satisfaction, maintaining daily communication, building effective relationships and partnering with them to jointly lead the growth of our industry.
• The Engineer 1 – Field Service works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
• S/he builds customer trust both internally & externally at local level, respects diversity and collaborate with the team and colleagues effectively.
• This job may include any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking.
• Based on business needs, the Field Service Engineer is available for business travels within the region or at an international level.
