As a qualified Field Service Engineer, you will work closely with our Service Planning Team to provide scheduled and emergency servicing on vacuum pumps and systems
The role holder will attend customers sites in order to maintain their vacuum equipment and provide support, when required, to undertake minor installation works and adjustments to existing systems
With a keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy, the ideal candidate should have a solutions mindset and work to contribute to the continued growth of the business

The main tasks for this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for fault finding, stripping down and the repair of all manufacturer’s vacuum pumps and associated plant as well as emergency breakdown repair cover.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process and that high-quality service is provided to all Busch UK Ltd customers in line with our customer charter.
• Liaise with customers on their vacuum requirements promoting the company, products and application solutions.
• Carry our minor installations in order to provide additional services to customers.
• Equipment and service visit reporting as well as maintaining stock are also important aspects of this role, the post holder must maintain accurate records of parts used and personal stock held.
