Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in LED video wall systems, professional AV systems, and video commissioning. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the servicing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of complex LED & AV setups in various environments including corporate, entertainment, broadcast, and retail sectors.
This is a customer-facing role that requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage field projects from start to finish, including providing video processing commissioning to meet client specifications.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on AV/LED display systems and related control equipment
  • Execute video system commissioning, including color calibration, pixel mapping, signal routing, and system validation
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Collaborate with system sales teams, project managers, engineering teams and the service desk to deliver accurate fault resolution within service level agreement of the contract.
  • Conduct system handovers, testing, and customer training to ensure full functionality and client satisfaction
  • Maintain detailed service reports, system documentation, and issue logs
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring technical issues and in conjunction with the Prodcut & Projects team work with our vendor partners on improvements.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Proven engineering experience in LED video wall technology
  • Proven experience in Video Commissioning on LED video processors and media servers (Datapath, Green Hippo, TVOne, Novastar)
  • Ideally Experience in products from the following brands; Absen, Samsung, LG, NEC, Sony
  • Knowledge of IP network configuration
  • Customer Centric Mindset
