SUMMARY

STERIS is energizing its presence in Australia. We’re expanding our service team and are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance and repair of our wide range of equipment across Western Australia.

THE EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED

Required:

• Trade Certificate/Technical Certificate/Diploma with strong hands-on technical service experience
• Restricted Electrical License
• Experience in troubleshooting, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components
• Valid driver’s license and possess own vehicle (car allowance will be provided), willingness to travel within New South Wales.
• Flexibility to carry out work duties occasionally beyond ordinary working hour.

Preferred:

• Full Electrical License is an advantage.
• Able to operate a computer, have an intermediate understanding of DOS and Windows, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office software packages, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Others:

• Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary to manipulate tools and equipment to perform essential functions.

• Develop and implement technical service function for STERIS equipment.
• Perform equipment Installations, preventive maintenance and repairs on STERIS Equipment.
• Interface with customers via customers visit / telephone / email to provide quality product support.
• Diagnose Faults, perform urgent repairs and participate in a rotating weekly after-hours-on call roster.
• Provide applications / user / technical training.
• File product complaints according to company procedures.
• Assist with spare parts inventory management for various products.
• Identify training needs and make recommendations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and troubleshooting and document accordingly.
• Document and update internal procedures.
• Manage and maintain equipment / spares database file through accurate documentations of movement, tracking and repair statuses.
• Deliver a superior level of customer after sales support.
