Our client is actively searching for a Field Application Engineer (Radio Frequency) to join their team!

The RF Field Application Engineer (FAE) will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, assist in product development, and provide pre- and post-sales technical support for RF Wireless solutions. This role combines engineering expertise with strong customer-facing skills to ensure successful implementation, troubleshooting, design-in and performance optimization for various applications.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years experience in RF/Microwave electronics engineering applications area.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing is a must.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of RF Wireless technologies, e.g. Cellular/RF Microwave and understanding RF principles such as RF/microwave circuit design/schematic layout, applications and test results.
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analysers, signal generators, etc.)
  • Good experience in RMA and recall issue handling, 3rd party rework support
  • Knowledge of IoT Technologies (Bluetooth/WLAN/Lorawan/Sigfox) will be an advantage
  • Understanding of industry-specific applications, such as automotive ADAS, 5G, or satellite systems will be a plus
  • The FAE should have the ability to work with Sales and Marketing representatives to develop new customers and business
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel is needed to support customers.
