YOUR IMPACT

At Leonardo, we have a life changing opportunity for a Tornado Support Equipment Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join the Leonardo Saudi Arabian team located in Riyadh, with full relocation support for you and family along with a generous benefit package which includes annual travel allowance to visit the UK. The CS3 line of business operates across the UK and export markets, providing innovative and invaluable support solutions to our customers.
You will be part of the in-country support team, catering for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Leonardo Tornado Armaments and Damocles Integrated Test Sets (TADITS), the Stores Management System (SMS) and FIST test equipment. This is an on-site role full-time.

What you will do as the FSE is:

  • Acting in a support role for customers seeking assistance with TADITS, SMS and FIST Systems
  • Liaising with all stakeholders, internal and external, to understand operational priorities
  • Ensuring the continued availability of customer assets
  • Ensuring issues are mitigated or escalated as appropriate
  • Complete fault identification and, where possible, rectification at customer sites
  • Complete both electronic and mechanical maintenance activities at customer sites
  • Complete support activities such as calibration management and Lifting Equipment management
  • Completing written engineering reports and raising requests for repairs/spares etc. as required
  • Be responsible for the coordination of Leonardo assigned workshare technical queries and fault investigations ensuring that all actions are undertaken.
  • Liaise on a day-to-day basis with the Customer to understand emerging technical issues and communicating to the BAES Technical Support Services team
  • Provide regular inputs to contracted Project reports and ad-hoc support to wider business activities as directed by the ESM.
  • Participate in training and development activities as identified and conform with Company engineering processes, quality procedures, and standard practices as well as Health, Safety Environmental requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We are looking for someone with experience working on complex electronic and electromechanical systems, with an Aerospace and Defence background, with a solid understanding of Tornado and/or test equipment support.
In this role you will be a Leonardo FSE and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing direct support to our customers.
This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
