FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of working with technical equipment
  • Ability to work in a technical environment – an understanding of parts
  • Working to high levels of customer service
  • Experience of working with people
  • Excellent problem solving and critical analysis skills with attention to detail
  • Passionate about the work you do, with the energy and drive to motivate the team around you
  • Full driving licence

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the service controller this is a key role within the business which is responsible for on-site repairs and breakdowns of electric/manual pallet trucks, stackers and order pickers. Ensuring customer care levels are of the highest standards and the department runs efficiently and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
  • Complete Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
  • Managing repair parts
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining daily communications with workshop control to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
  • Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
