Clean Harbors in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Field Service Foreman Environmental Emergency Response to join our safety conscious team. This position will be responsible for the direct supervision of the Field Technicians. Forepersons and Technicians will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response (emergency spill cleanup), hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation (tank and pit cleaning), equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. Flexible schedule Average an 8-10+ hour day, overtime after 40 hrs. Up to 40% overnight travel, hotel and per diem provided Valid Driver's License required Must be available for emergency response and occasional project work (evenings & weekends) Premium/Emergency pay for Emergency Response work outside of the regular business day Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company, and it is paid training.
