Macmahon Maintenance Masters (MMM) provides labour support to Macmahon’s surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day!
MMM are building a team of motivated, reliable and experienced Underground Field Service - HD Fitters/Mechanics to work across Macmahon’s underground mine sites in WA.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology)
• Current Manual Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
• Proven experience on underground equipment
• Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drivers and minor components such as pumps and cylinders
• Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting skills

• Scheduled Services, minor rebuilds & ongoing preventive maintenance to a medium fleet of various underground machinery (listed below).
• Diagnose, Problem solve & Fault find
• Identify, interpret & repair for reuse any parts & accessories
• Meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy, fully equipped modern workshop
• Able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work unsupervised at times
