We are seeking trade qualified Field Service Auto-Electrician to join our William Adams team based out of our Clayton branch.
This is a full-time permanent position, working a 5 x 2 (Mon - Fri) roster.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be proficient in the diagnosis and repair of all types of electrical systems. You will diagnose, service and repair a wide range of CAT Earthmoving equipment including air-conditioning systems.
As our customers work 24 hours a day, the hours of work can vary depending on your personal circumstances and we are more than happy to work with you to find a roster that suits you!

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Completion of onsite trouble-shooting, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of electrical and mechanical CAT equipment
  • Fitting of electrical safety equipment
  • Air conditioning repairs and maintenance
  • Completion of all required paperwork accurately and effectively
  • Providing quality customer service at all times

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical Fitting or equivalent
  • Air Conditioning ARC accreditation
  • Current drivers licence
  • Previous experience diagnosing of CAT machinery
  • Experience in Caterpillar electrical and laptop diagnosis (highly desirable)
  • You will be proficient in the diagnosis and repair of all types of electrical systems
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
