About you
If you are ready to take your next career step with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future, then we are seeking your experience in the following;
- Qualified Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation trade OR degree qualified Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineer with industry experience.
Some skills you may have:
- Good technical knowledge of rotating equipment and/or PLC systems.
- Strong customer focus and customer service skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to write clear technical reports.
- Computer literate (MS Office experience).
- Gas Turbine, Power Generation and Gas Compression experience.
- Oil and Gas industry experience.
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the technical focal point at customer sites across the East Coast of Australia, NZ & PNG.
On site, you may be doing anything from troubleshooting to commissioning projects, service and maintenance inspections to equipment removal and installation of Solar Turbines’ range of turbo-machinery products (Gas Turbines, Compressor Sets, Generator sets).
Of course, you’ll also be responsible for:
- Ensuring maintenance services and installation support adheres to relevant specifications and standards.
- Utilising sound judgment when analyzing problems, with little to no supervision to solve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Performing preventive/corrective maintenance.
- Assisting in a technical manner with customer operations and maintenance crews.
- Providing detailed and technical reports to various stakeholders.
- Ensuring customer expectations are always met or exceeded.
- Complying with Solar Turbines’ and clients’ HSSE policies and procedures.
