Overview Position Summary: Field Service Technician III is a senior-level role, where you will take on significant responsibility for overseeing major component exchanges and repairs. This role requires a deep understanding of wind turbine systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. You will also be responsible for leading teams on-site, ensuring the safety of all crew members, and maintaining the highest standards of service quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Lead major component exchanges, including high-level mechanical and electrical systems, such as gearboxes, generators, and other critical components. Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on wind turbines. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, providing leadership on jobsites. Supervise and train junior technicians (Field Service Technicians I and II) and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Review and ensure that all service work is completed with efficiency and precision. Prepare and review detailed service reports, including assessments of turbine health and parts performance. Work closely with project managers to ensure service schedules and timelines are met.
