Hy-Tek Intralogistics Job Description Job Title: Field Service Technician Department: Industrial Services Shift: Second or Third Supervisor: Service Manager Job Purpose: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide maintenance service on lift trucks and various material handling equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for changing oil and performing routine preventative maintenance on all Industrial Equipment. * Assess and repair damage and mechanical related issues on lift trucks. * Provide lift truck maintenance services onsite at customer locations. * Communicate professionally while onsite with the customer. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: * 1+ years’ experience as a service technician, mechanic or similar position is preferred. * High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical education in automotive, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent experience is preferred. * Ability to work without direct supervision. * Ability to prioritize tasks with great attention to detail. * Must have a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions: * Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds. * Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel to work on Industrial Equipment. * This position spends most of the day in a warehouse setting. * Some travel to customer locations is required, so outside work may be mandatory. Compensation: * The expected starting hourly range for this role is $23 - $35 per hour. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
