JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Field Service Technician at 4AG Robotics, the candidate will play a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting our advanced robotic systems on-site at farms. The position combines technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving to ensure optimal system functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in robotics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Field experience, preferably in agriculture or robotics systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Effective communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and industrial control system is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments.
  • A valid driving license
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and calibrate agricultural robotic systems at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Provide hand-on and remote technical support to ensure continuous systems functionality.
  • Offer comprehensive training to customers and farm staff on operating and maintaining robotics systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and serviceability.
  • Document all service activities and develop preventive maintenance plans.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for service activities.
  • Support field trails of new equipment and prototypes, providing valuable feedback on performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards and working on-site.
