About Us:

Adaptalift is one of Australia’s largest and fastest growing materials handling hire and sales companies. With over 40 years of heritage as a privately-owned, family-operated business, we employ over 600 people across Australia and New Zealand. Our team members enjoy making a difference for our customers as part of a dynamic, values-led business where safety is at the forefront of everything we do.

Adaptalift Group has been appointed as a major national dealer for JCB construction, agricultural and industrial equipment in Australia, combining our national service network with JCB’s globally recognised product range to maximise machine uptime.

Due to this exciting growth, we are seeking a Field Service Technician based out of Seven Hills, NSW working predominantly on JCB equipment.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic field-based role where you’ll be delivering high-quality service, breakdown support, fault finding and preventative maintenance on JCB machinery across the region.

You’ll be supported by our national coordination team and experienced supervisors, equipped with modern tools and mobile technology to efficiently manage your day. Approximately 90% of your time will be spent on customer sites.

Whether you're an experienced Technician or a Light Vehicle Mechanic ready to take the next step, this is your opportunity to elevate your career.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns in the field
  • Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Conducting fault finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Working directly with customers to deliver safe and professional service
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams on complex repairs
  • Representing the business professionally across customer sites
