JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Service Engineer (Levels I–III)
Reports To: Assistant Manager – Technical

EDUCATION

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field or vocational degree with equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

• Level I:
• New hire or contract associate with up to 4 years’ experience in metal forming equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of hand tools and measuring devices essential for installations and repairs.
• Level II:
• 1–6 years’ experience in:
• Metal forming equipment installation and repair
• Mechanical drive maintenance and repair
• Electrical wiring and controls diagnosis and repair
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems maintenance and repair
• General knowledge of:
• Material feeding and production line systems
• Rigging and millwright skills
• OSHA safety requirements and regulations
• Level III:
• 10–20 years’ experience in:
• All Level II competencies
• Advanced knowledge of:
• Material feeding and production line systems
• Rigging and millwright skills
• OSHA safety requirements and regulations to ensure safety compliance
