In this role, you’ll travel within a 100-mile radius of your home base Monday through Friday, installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of cash automation equipment including counters, recyclers, and ATMs. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our clients while delivering exceptional service and upholding the high standards that make QDS a trusted partner across the region. The individual in this position must live within 20 miles of Asheville, NC. Approved living locations include: Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Fairview Please note: Field Service Technicians participate in a rotating schedule of evening and weekend on-call assignments, ensuring our clients receive timely support outside of standard business hours. (Determined by territory) What You’ll Do: · Bring live and troubleshoot ATMs, ITMs, TCRs, Currency Discriminators, and Coin machines · Upgrade software and hardware · Diagnose system complications and perform repairs · Perform preventative maintenance · Communicate effectively with QDS team members and customers Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Past successful candidates have had experience or backgrounds in installation or repair of cash automation equipment, office equipment, POS systems, security equipment, and electrical or HVAC backgrounds. · High school diploma required; associate degree preferred · 1+ years of experience as a field service technician preferred · NCR Certification /OEM ATM/ITM certification a plus (Hyosung, NCR, Diebold, etc.) · People person! Friendly and sociable with great relationship building skills – ability to create an instant rapport with customers. · Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently · Clean and neat appearance · Strong communication and relationship-building skills · Ability to prioritize travel schedule and manage time effectively · This position requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record · This position requires successfully passing a background check and drug screening, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
